SAP ABAP Developer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities:

• Planning, development, and documentation of sophisticated, company-specific applications in the SAP environment with a focus on ABAP and ABAP OO in an S/4HANA system landscape.
• Being part of the SAP development team and developing existing applications as well as new solutions – moving away from classic Dynpro towards modern Fiori and UI-based applications.
• Active support for the further development of our S/4HANA landscape after the successful transformation.
• Participation in the optimization of existing business processes.
• Analysis of errors and performance issues, development of sustainable solutions, and contribution of ideas for technical and functional optimization of our SAP processes.
• Development and maintenance of SAP forms (Adobe Forms; knowledge of SAPscript / Smart Forms is an advantage).
• Close collaboration with business departments, SAP consultants, and SAP Basis to ensure clean technical implementation.

Requirements:

Must have:

• Completed studies in computer science (business informatics) or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in the implementation and further development of business processes in the SAP environment, ideally in an S/4HANA system landscape.
• Very good knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO; experience in developing S/4HANA-compatible solutions is an advantage.
• Initial or in-depth knowledge of SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 as well as experience in developing modern UI-based applications is desirable.
• Experience in developing SAP forms, ideally with Adobe Forms (possibly SAPscript / Smart Forms).
• Confident communication in German and English, both written and spoken; other languages are an advantage.
• Good understanding of commercial business processes (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM).
• Independent, structured, service- and solution-oriented work ethic, as well as team player qualities.
