Oystin is looking to strengthen our growing Europe-based consulting team with an Associate Consultant - Airline Strategy. What you'll do

  • Conduct market and competitor analysis and ensure we stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including around AI
  • Participate in internal business development and industry research activities to strengthen our position as an industry thought leader and future-proof the way we work and our offering in light of AI
  • Conduct data analysis to identify and understand a problem and issues
  • Use research, interviews, and surveys, etc. to collect relevant data and subsequently draw conclusions
  • Help develop strategic recommendations for clients
  • Design high-quality presentations and documents to break down complex issues for client's senior executives
  • Own your work packages within projects

What you'll need to bring

  • A broad understanding of and interest in the airline and travel industry
  • A desire to learn and grow together with us in a changing industry and consulting environment due to AI
  • Undergraduate or master's degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience, for example in a consultancy or in a company within the airline or travel industry in a commercial or strategic function
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of data analysis and research techniques, including relevant tools (e.g. Google Gemini, Claude or similar LLM, MS Excel and PowerPoint, Tableau)
  • Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid setup e.g., work from home, office in Frankfurt and the client's offices
  • Ability and willingness to travel globally and frequently for days or potentially up to two weeks at a time. Travel time is expected to be 20% and could be up to 40% of time
