Your tasks
- You take a leading role in productizing sustainability and regulatory frameworks for our SaaS product Packa.
- You translate complex regulatory and legal texts (e.g. PPWR, EPR, PCF, recyclability requirements) into clear product requirements and decision trees.
- You work closely with the tech teams during the implementation phase to provide context and test developed systems.
- You conduct deep-dive research on packaging sustainability topics and turn insights into actionable product specifications.
- You act as the domain expert for ESG, sustainability and regulatory topics for internal teams and Packa customers.
- You establish and continuously improve a structured research practice, including documentation, standards and best practices.
- You define and maintain test data, validation logics and edge cases for sustainability-related product features.
- You support the long-term transition from an operational expert role towards domain leadership as Packa scales.
What you bring with you
- You have experience in a research-heavy, analytical environment dealing with complex information, for example in ESG, sustainability, regulatory, analyst or academic contexts.
- You are experienced in structuring complex topics and translating them into logical, implementable systems.
- You have worked with regulatory or compliance-driven topics and understand how legislation translates into operational requirements.
- You combine a high attention to detail with the ability to understand the bigger picture.
- You have a strong execution mindset and take ownership of your topics end to end.
- You are motivated to build real, scalable ESG software rather than reports or slide decks.
- You have worked closely with product and engineering teams.
- You have very good German skills and are fluent in English.
