As a Director (m/f/d) in Fund Management Retail in Frankfurt, Hamburg or Augsburg, you will play a decisive role!

Your tasks

  • Independent, proactive management of one or more special real estate funds (incl. Luxembourg fund structures) in compliance with all legal, regulatory and contractual framework conditions
  • Role as a retail fund management expert with a focus on food retail (supermarkets, discounters, retail parks); experience in the shopping center sector is welcome
  • Leading involvement in new product initiatives and active conceptual design of the retail and food retail business at PATRIZIA in close coordination with the specialist departments
  • Examination, analysis and evaluation of investment and divestment properties in the retail environment
  • Plausibility check, approval and control of cash flow planning in close coordination with Asset Management and other specialist departments
  • Preparation of fund planning and active, value-, risk- and return-oriented strategic portfolio management based on the fund strategy
  • Confident, convincing investor support including presentations, reporting, fund updates and trustworthy communication
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of financing, interest rate and derivative strategies
  • Acting as a central point of contact for risk management, accounting, tax and legal issues in collaboration with internal and external specialists
  • Responsibility for the strategic financial and liquidity management of the fund structures under management

What you bring with you

  • Completed studies (including integrated studies) in economics or engineering or studies with a real estate focus or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in fund management, ideally with a focus on special real estate funds; knowledge of Luxembourg structures (e.g. RAIF, SCS, SICAV) is an advantage, but not a must
  • Proven retail expertise, preferably in food retail (food retail, retail parks, local supply); alternatively or additionally experience in the shopping center segment
  • Long-established network of relevant market participants in the (food) retail segment (tenants, developers, brokers, operators) for the identification of investment opportunities, sound market assessments and active portfolio management
  • Proven in-depth understanding of the retail real estate markets in Germany / DACH as well as the ability to structure and support international investments
  • Very good knowledge of the relevant capital market and real estate law framework (incl. investment law)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Strong client relationship management at an institutional level
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English
  • Customer-oriented, confident and engaging demeanor paired with analytical depth
  • High resilience, diligence, assertiveness and strong team and strategic skills
  • Independent, entrepreneurial way of working
  • Willingness to travel
