PerkinElmer LAS GmbH is seeking a qualified individual (m/f/d) with a valid work permit for Germany to fill the following position, based from a home office in their place of residence in Northern Bavaria:
Account Manager Analytical Solutions (m/f/d)
As part of a consultative sales process, you will drive all sales activities in your region and for your product lines. You will provide targeted advice to various customers, from environmental and food analytics, the pharmaceutical industry, to battery research, focusing on their problem-solving needs. If necessary, a team of application experts and service specialists will cooperatively support you.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales territory in the product areas of chromatography (GC, LC, GC/MS, LC/MS), atomic (AAS, ICP OES/MS), and molecular spectroscopy (IR, UV/VIS).
- Sales responsibility in the primary postal code areas 90-97.
- Conduct customer consultations with a focus on closing deals.
- Develop new business relationships, including through social media, and maintain the existing customer base.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve market position.
- Product presentations at company events, seminars, trade fairs, and congresses.
- Collaborate with the service and support organization.
- Close cooperation with key account managers, application specialists, and inside sales staff.
Candidate Profile:
- Completed university degree in natural sciences, preferably chemistry.
- Expertise in analytical chemistry, instrumental analytics, and mass spectrometry.
- Initial sales experience in capital goods sales.
- Affinity and experience in social selling.
- Independent, goal-oriented, and sales-driven approach.
- Organizational talent, commitment, and a high degree of customer focus.
- Excellent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite and CRM systems.
- Reside in a conveniently located and central area within the sales territory to be managed, possess a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel (>50%).
