Senior-IT-Administrator

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior IT Administrator position. The company, a leading European manufacturer in transport solutions for decades, is located near Ulm. This role offers an annual target salary of up to €75,000.

Your Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, as well as user support
• Implementation of IT security measures (updates, access controls, firewalls, VPN, backups, endpoint security)
• Further development of the IT infrastructure, including automation and introduction of new technologies
• Participation in IT projects, evaluation of modern solutions, and continuous optimization of the IT landscape
• Documentation and adherence to compliance and data protection guidelines
• Management of external service providers and active knowledge transfer within the team

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT administration, networks, and cloud environments – international experience ideal
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft/Linux servers, AD & Entra ID
• Experience in IT security, automation (PowerShell/Python), and ITIL processes
• Experience with global budgeting, service provider management, and international IT environments
