Our client is an internationally active plant manufacturer based in the Borken district. The company plans, builds, and operates plants for energy generation from organic waste materials, supporting clients in agriculture, industry, and the municipal sector. With multiple locations in Europe, America, and Asia, and several hundred employees worldwide, this successful company is on a growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- In your position as a Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you will support the finance department flexibly in various areas, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger accounting.
- You will participate in monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code) and assist with account reconciliations.
- You will handle tasks in an international environment and liaise with colleagues and tax advisors at different locations.
- You will prepare analyses and support the team with reporting and statistics.
- Finally, you will also work on projects to optimize accounting processes.
Requirements
- As a Financial Accountant (m/f/d), you have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting.
- You have several years of experience in financial accounting and have gained insights into various sub-areas.
- You possess basic knowledge of bookkeeping according to HGB and an interest in balance sheet-related topics.
- You work in a structured and meticulous manner and flexibly support your team with various tasks.
- Finally, you communicate confidently in German and can also converse in English.
