Role Overview
As a recruitment consultant, we support companies in their search for and selection of personnel. Our client is an owner-managed distributor for passive electronic components with around 35 employees and over 45 years of market experience. Since 1979, the company, headquartered in Bavaria, has stood for reliability, technical expertise, and long-term customer relationships.
Do you feel at home in sales, but are only comfortable when you are technically deeply involved in product application? Do you want to not only sell, but also technically co-develop projects and support customers long-term?
Then you will take on a key role in sales for the North Rhine-Westphalia region at our client.
Role & Perspective
You will start primarily in internal sales (home office) and will be systematically trained in field sales and regional responsibility. The goal is to take over and further develop the sales region of North Rhine-Westphalia with a strong focus on technical customer support and project work.
Responsibilities
- Technical support and further development of existing customers
- Active participation in customer development and projects
- Technical advice on passive electronic components, especially capacitors
- Identification of new applications and projects at the customer's site
- Close cooperation with development departments on the customer side and with procurement and internal sales within your own company
- Offer preparation, project tracking, and closing support
- Gradual assumption of full regional responsibility
Your Profile
- Sound knowledge of passive electronic components
- Ideally, but not a requirement: Very good knowledge in the field of capacitors
- Experience in technical sales, application sales, or project sales
- Ability to understand, explain, and further develop technical contexts
- Structured, analytical way of working and project understanding
- Basic sales orientation and confident demeanor with customers
- Very good German language skills (spoken and written, C1 level or higher) and good English skills
- Willingness to travel within North Rhine-Westphalia
