Players For Good: CTO / Development Lead (m/w/d) - Initial Volunteer Role
Players For Good connects sports, community, and social engagement. We believe in the power of play to move people -- physically and in their hearts. We are a young, non-profit organization with a clear mission: We scale humanity.
75% of people in Germany are not regularly involved in our community. We want to change that -- through our app „Play For Good", which connects sports and social engagement with donations, among other things.
To drive this change and create real impact, we are looking for someone who wants more than just development: As CTO / Development Lead, you will help shape our technological vision from the very beginning.
Your Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership: You will be co-responsible for selecting and expanding our tech stack.
- Hands-on Development: You will participate in the development of our app and website, and manage existing digital tools and infrastructure.
- Strategy: You will advise the founding team on all technical matters and plan the scaling of our digital offerings.
Your Profile
- You are a doer who finds solutions and works independently.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Flutter, or Python is a big plus, but we are open to your expertise.
- You have a genuine interest in using technology to enable a better life for others, implementing non-profit projects, and thereby creating social added value.
- You see yourself as part of the extended founding team and contribute voluntarily with 2-3 hours per week flexibly to grow with us.
- Initiative, reliability, and a desire to try new things.
- Good German and English skills.
