About Us
As the super-platform for non-professional soccer in Europe, we bring pro-level experiences (news, data, gamification) to the mega-community of +190 million footballers and soccer fans.
We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne, Germany. Our team consists of 35+ smart and "hungry" members working on Prematch in our offices in Cologne and Berlin (Marketing & Business Team) or remotely across Europe (Tech & Product Team).
We are supported by partners like adidas, Krombacher, Flaschenpost and Scalable Capital, with more exciting partnerships in the pipeline. We are also backed by successful investors such as Ralf Reichert, CEO of ESL, and entrepreneur Verena Pausder.
Your Profile
Already a good match if you....
- Location: Excited to work from one of our offices (Berlin Mitte, London, Cologne) or fully remote.
- Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience and confidence in your role.
- Mobile Expertise: Hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile apps (iOS, Android, or cross-platform) with an understanding of mobile development challenges.
- Startup Mindset: Enjoy working in a growing team and dynamic environment, with prior experience in a startup or fast-paced setting and a passion for building things from the ground up.

Your Mission
- Product Thinking: Develop with a clear product focus, making technical decisions with user experience, business value, and long-term scalability in mind.
- Feature Development: Build new features for our Flutter app and entire stack using a modern, AI-driven development approach.
- Ownership: Work independently within a product team, take ownership, and actively contribute your experience to technical development.
- Engineering Excellence: Help raise code quality within the team and set high standards for maintainability, structure, and technical excellence.
- Review Culture: Ensure our mobile codebase remains consistent, robust, and high-quality through thorough code reviews.
- Product & Design Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Design, constructively challenge requirements, and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- App Performance: Continuously improve the performance, stability, and reliability of our mobile application.
- Mobile Architecture: Actively shape architectural decisions in the mobile domain and contribute to a scalable technical vision.
What You Need
- AI-First Development: Utilize AI as an integral part of a modern development workflow.
- Flutter Expertise: Strong knowledge of Dart and Flutter for developing high-performance, high-quality mobile applications.
- Architecture & Code Quality: Proficiency in SOLID principles, clean structures, and sustainable code quality.
- Mobile UX: Understanding of how good mobile products work, including UI/UX principles and proven design patterns.
- Quality Mindset: Work in a test-driven and quality-oriented manner, familiar with common software development testing methods.
- Collaboration: Positive, proactive approach with a contribution to strong team dynamics.
Advantageous (But Not Required)
- Full-stack Thinking: Knowledge of back-end and DevOps.
- Platform Expertise: Experience in native Android/iOS development.
- Firebase Stack: Practical experience with Firebase.
- Product Analytics: Familiarity with tools like Amplitude and Braze for understanding user behavior.
