VP Finance (FP&A & Treasury) -- Berlin
We are partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed international business at a key stage of its evolution, combining strong organic growth with strategic M&A and increasing institutionalisation.
The VP Finance (FP&A & Treasury) will play a central role in shaping the financial direction of the company, working closely with the CFO and executive leadership to drive performance, support strategic decision-making, and ensure robust liquidity and capital management.
This is a high-impact role suited to someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with commercial acumen and a hands-on, delivery-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the FP&A and Treasury functions, driving best-in-class planning, forecasting, and performance management processes
- Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to translate strategic priorities into financial targets, insights, and actionable recommendations
- Own the group budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Lead capital structure initiatives, including debt financing, refinancing, and lender relationship management
- Oversee treasury operations including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and FX exposure
- Drive working capital optimisation initiatives across the business to improve cash conversion and free cash flow
- Deliver high-quality management, board, and investor reporting with clear and concise financial narratives
- Support M&A activity, including financial diligence, modelling, and integration of acquired businesses
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in FP&A and treasury within a high-growth, PE-backed, or leveraged environment
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with the ability to turn data into strategic insight
- Experience managing debt structures, financing processes, and lender relationships
- Credible partner to senior stakeholders, with strong communication and influencing skills
- Track record of leading teams and driving process improvements in fast-paced environments
- Hands-on, pragmatic approach with a focus on value creation rather than hierarchy
