Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer (Freelance 15-20h/week) at Prospecter you become an integral part of our development team and work closely with our CTO. Being a key contributor to Prospecter's AI approach and working closely on deploying, fine-tuning and implementing Large Language Models, you will become a core team member, as Prospecter becomes a leader in the industry and remains on the forefront of technological development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, fine-tune, deploy and optimise Machine Learning solutions solving complex problems and adding substantial product value
• Monitor and enhance model performance via feature engineering, experimentation and evaluation
• API & Model Development: Build and optimise pipelines, implement RESTful endpoints, containerise models, set up monitoring etc.
• Data privacy & security: ensure all data processing complies with GDPR and EU AI ACT guidelines, implement model security best practices.
• Collaborate with development team, ensuring AI features provide exceptional user experience and product value
• Identification of ML/AI opportunities for Prospecter's product, through collaboration with engineering and product team
• Remain up to date on the latest ML/AI advancements, to ensure Prospecter remains on the forefront of technological development.

Qualifications

• Expertise in implementing, fine-tuning, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models to address real-world problems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and utilizing their AI services.
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps (build, continuous integration, deployment tools) and best practices.
• Very strong programming skills in Python
• Comfortable designing and building REST APIs
• Experience with ML frameworks, such as scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in AI/ML engineering, with a track record of handling increasingly complex projects.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Location & Eligibility: Candidate must hold EU/EEA or Swiss citizenship

Work Environment

Whilst we also treasure remote and home-office work, we find brainstorming sessions together every now one then (2-3 weeks) highly valuable. Hence, why this is a "hybrid" position. We will meet from time to time if valuable, else you are free to work from your preferred location.
