Your role

Join us in shaping the future of food!

As Head of Sales, you will own the full commercial engine of ProteinDistillery - driving B2B Food Commercialization across key accounts, strategic partnerships, and new markets. You bring deep industry knowledge, an established network in the food industry, and the Commercial Excellence to turn that network into revenue. This is a rare opportunity to shape Go-to-Market Execution and international expansion at a fast-growing alternative proteins company from the ground up.

Your mission

As the Head of Sales, you will be at the forefront of our growth journey. You will:

  • Drive B2B Food Commercialization by identifying, closing, and securing high-value deals with key accounts and industry partners
  • Lead Partnership Structuring - from production joint ventures and co-manufacturing agreements to distribution networks
  • Own Go-to-Market Execution: develop and optimize product, portfolio, pricing, and positioning strategies to fuel revenue growth and international expansion
  • Build and manage key account processes; establish relationships that drive product co-development and become early adopters in new business areas
  • Work closely with the C-suite to contribute to corporate strategy and long-term growth initiatives
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales and business development team

Your profile

Experience & Background

  • Proven track record in business development, commercial strategy, or Partnership Structuring within the food or ingredients industry
  • Established network of decision-makers in the food industry - you know the right people and they know you
  • Deep expertise in negotiating joint ventures, co-manufacturing agreements, and distribution partnerships
  • Experience managing key accounts, distributors, and contract manufacturers
  • Academic background in Biotechnology, Food Technology, or Food Chemistry; MBA or strong business acumen a plus

Leadership & Skills

  • You identify, pursue, and close high-value deals independently
  • Ability to lead Cross-Functional Commercial Leadership across sales, product, and C-suite stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a sharp eye for partnership opportunities

Languages

  • English and German (mandatory)
  • Full professional proficiency in additional languages (French, Spanish ect.) are a plus
