Operational Purchaser (m/f/d)

As part of our purchasing team, you will take responsibility for the operational procurement of packaging materials, raw materials, services, and other requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Procurement of required raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies in the appropriate quality, including optimal needs assessment and ensuring material availability
• Independent order processing (inquiries, quote management, ordering)
• Monitoring and control of delivery dates and quantities, as well as creation of forecasts
• Continuous maintenance of disposition and purchasing data in the ERP system
• Checking and booking incoming invoices
• Handling complaints in close coordination with suppliers and internal interfaces
• Support in supplier evaluation and qualification of new suppliers
• Communication interface between suppliers, production planning, logistics, and other specialist departments
• Improvement and further development of operational procurement processes

Your Profile:

• Completion of a commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing company in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and sound experience with ERP and BI systems
• Analytical, solution-oriented thinking and negotiation skills
• Structured way of working, communication, and assertiveness
• Sense of responsibility, willingness to perform, and service orientation
• Appreciative attitude and constructive interaction with various stakeholders to achieve goals together
• Fluent German and English skills
