Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable network infrastructure across our distributed systems. You will play a key role in ensuring network performance, security, and availability in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VPN)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement network security measures (firewalls, intrusion detection, access controls)
- Manage cloud-based networking environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams
- Maintain documentation of network architecture and configurations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Experience with network security best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
- Experience with SD-WAN and network automation
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of container networking (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in logistics or distributed systems environments
