We are looking for a WordPress Developer (m/f/d) for the further development and support of our own WordPress website, fully remote or in our office in Münster. Apply now and become part of our marketing team – in part-time with 30 hours per week.

What we expect from you

• In-depth WordPress knowledge and practical experience in developing custom WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks, and plugins according to WordPress standards and best practices
• Proficient in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React), both front-end and back-end development
• Experience with Git-based workflows and version control in collaborative development environments
• Desirable: Experience with performance optimization, technical SEO, and accessibility
• Knowledge in managing Google Tag Manager and tracking integrations
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (marketing, design, product) and external service providers, if applicable
• Fluent German and very good English skills

What are your tasks?

• Support, further development, and sustainable optimization of our WordPress website
• Implementation of design and UX requirements in close cooperation with marketing, product, and content
• Development of individual functions, Gutenberg blocks, and WordPress plugins according to current WP guidelines
• Creation and adaptation of WordPress themes
• Performance optimization, bug fixes, and refactoring
• Ensuring and continuously improving accessibility and technical SEO
• Integration and maintenance of tracking solutions (Google Tag Manager)
• Implementation of requirements for marketing campaigns (e.g., landing pages, conversion optimizations)
• Documentation and maintenance of internal WordPress extensions and repositories for design settings
• Collaboration with stakeholders and team.blue in various areas
• Participation in the strategic further development of web architecture and technical standards
