Your Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Integration
- Conception and implementation of data pipelines and BI dashboards.
- Definition, documentation, and implementation of data flows and interfaces between IT/OT systems and the cloud-based data platform.
- Consolidation of operational data (e.g., measurement data, operations management, GIS, asset management) into a unified data basis for project-specific analysis and usage scenarios.
ETL-/ELT Development (Azure / Databricks)
- Design, implementation, and further development of ETL-/ELT processes based on modern Azure and Databricks components.
- Analysis of source structures, as well as setup and maintenance of project-wide data models.
- Support in the setup, configuration, and monitoring of the data platform and associated interface processes.
Analysis, Reporting & Data Provision
- Power BI dashboarding and template creation.
- Preparation and provision of data for various technical and analytical usage scenarios within the ASSET.100 project (e.g., digital network processes, condition-based monitoring, operational applications).
- Development and support of project-specific reporting solutions (including Power BI) and ensuring usable data supply for the project.
IT Conception & Technical Coordination
- Analysis of business requirements from sub-areas of the project and derivation of IT architectures and technical concepts.
- Coordination with involved business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Technical support for project-specific implementation activities and ensuring technical quality within the project context.
Your Profile
- Deep understanding of data-related issues and experience in developing data-based IT solutions.
- Experience in projects involving cloud data platforms, data engineering, interfaces, and data integration.
- German language skills (written and spoken), at least C1 level.
- Technological know-how in several areas, including:
- Azure Data Services, especially: Databricks, Data Factory, Azure DevOps
- Power BI
- Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Python, Git, CI/CD
- ETL-/ELT processes, e.g., via REST APIs
- SQL, Unity Catalog, modern data governance concepts.
