Paid Ads Specialist (Regulated Markets) — Remote, Full Time

Rankist is a Swiss Shopify growth agency. We work exclusively with brands in regulated and complex verticals: CBD, hemp, nicotine pouches, supplements, and other categories that most agencies stay away from. Our team of 15+ specialists covers SEO, CRO, Klaviyo email marketing, paid ads, and creative, all on Shopify.

We are now hiring a Paid Ads Specialist to own Meta and Google Ads for our client portfolio.

The Role

You will run Meta Ads and Google Ads across our client portfolio. Most of our clients sell products that Meta and Google do not love: CBD, nicotine, supplements with strong claims. You know the policies, you know the workarounds inside the rules, and you know how to keep accounts alive while spending real budget profitably.

What you will do

• Plan, launch, and scale Meta and Google Ads campaigns for Shopify brands in regulated verticals
• Build compliant ad accounts and creative that pass review without compromising performance
• Manage Business Manager structures, domain verification, pixel and Conversions API setup, and feed compliance for Google Shopping where applicable
• Recover and reinstate disabled accounts
• Communicate directly with clients in clean, professional English
• Work closely with our designers and Klaviyo team so paid traffic and email work as one funnel
• Report on ROAS, CAC, blended performance, and incrementality in language clients understand

What we need from you

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads, with a meaningful portion of that spend in regulated categories (CBD, nicotine, supplements, gambling, crypto, or similar)
• Proven track record of scaling at least one brand past EUR 100k per month in ad spend or revenue while staying profitable
• Deep knowledge of Meta Business Manager, Google Ads policy, account warm-up strategies, agency ad accounts, and reinstatement processes
• Strong written and spoken English --- you will talk to clients directly
• Comfortable working independently and owning the outcomes of your accounts
• Available during European business hours for at least 4 hours of overlap per day

Nice to have

• Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo
• Understanding of Conversions API setup via Shopify or GTM server-side
• Experience with TikTok Ads or Reddit Ads in regulated verticals
• German language skills

Compensation

Base salary depends on your experience, location, and the level of ownership you can take from day one. We pay fairly and we pay on time, every time. On top of base, we run a performance bonus tied to client results: the better your accounts perform, the more you earn. We discuss exact numbers in the second interview once we understand each other's expectations.
