re-green's mission is to free all large German offices from their CO₂ footprint. Building owners often lack the equity and focus to make their properties more sustainable. This has serious consequences: The real estate industry is responsible for 40% of German energy consumption and 36% of all CO₂ emissions. Without affordable decarbonization of commercial real estate, achieving the 2-degree target is unimaginable. So, how do we make sustainability affordable?

re-green implements comprehensive ESG renovations and certifications without requiring owners to invest. The fully digitized construction of heat pumps in containers, PV systems, and charging stations is financed through electricity and heat supply contracts with tenants – at prices below the German average. We save approx. 1000 tons of CO₂ per house per year. This creates a solution that is both economically viable and sustainable.

Your Responsibilities

As a finance expert, you will be directly involved in building a leading cleantech company. You will work closely with our Head of Finance and ensure operational excellence. Your responsibilities include:

• Finance & Controlling: Accounts receivable management, liquidity planning, project controlling, forecasts, financial models.
• Contract & Compliance Management: Drafting contracts, communication with authorities, tax advisors, and insurance companies.
• HR Support: Collaboration with the payroll office.
• Subsidy Management & Energy Industry Procedures: You will actively support the realization of the full subsidy potential of our ESG projects.

Your Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a comparable field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in a commercial role, ideally in a project-oriented company (startups, consulting, construction, energy, etc.).
• Proficient in Excel / Sheets.
• Structured and highly independent way of working.
• Very good German language skills, good English language skills.

Finance Specialist (Part-time)

Responsibilities

• Finanzen & Controlling: Forderungsmanagement, Liquiditätsplanung, Projektcontrolling, Forecasts, Finanzmodelle.
• Vertrags- & Compliance-Management: Erstellung von Verträgen, Kommunikation mit Behörden, Steuerberatern, Versicherungen
• HR-Support: Zusammenarbeit mit dem Lohnbüro
• Fördermanagement & energiewirtschaftliche Verfahren: Du unterstützt aktiv dabei, das volle Förderpotenzial unserer ESG-Projekte zu realisieren

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder Studium im Bereich BWL, Rechnungswesen, Finance oder vergleichbar
• Mind. 2-4 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer kaufmännischen Funktion, idealerweise in einem projektorientierten Unternehmen (Startups, Beratung, Bau, Energie etc.)
• Sicherer Umgang mit Excel /Sheets
• Strukturierte und sehr selbstständige Arbeitsweise
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse, gute Englischkenntnisse
