About The Role
We are looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing to lead strategy, execution, and team development in a dynamic payroll and software solutions environment. This role combines leadership, commercial growth, and hands-on execution, offering the opportunity to shape integrated sales and marketing initiatives while driving measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a 5-person sales and marketing team with both disciplinary and functional responsibility.
- Define and execute an integrated sales and marketing strategy focused on acquiring new mid-sized business customers and expanding software solution sales.
- Plan, manage, and control all sales, marketing, and customer retention activities, including budget responsibility.
- Analyze market, customer, and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and refine product and pricing strategies.
- Drive process optimization and digitalization projects in sales and marketing.
- Build and maintain strategic customer and partner relationships, representing the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in sales and marketing, ideally in payroll or software solutions.
- Proven team leadership experience with a hands-on approach.
- Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and independent working style.
- Confident communicator in German and English, with natural networking ability.
