About the Role:

As part of Group Controlling, we support management in achieving goals and steering the business from the perspective of the entire REWE Group. We are process owners for the core processes of planning and reporting and the central point of contact for all controlling-related questions. In the Group Performance & Market Intelligence division, we focus on the strategic and financial development of the REWE Group and its key competitors. As business partners, we support our top management with our analyses and recommendations for action.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create Transparency: Analyze the operational and strategic developments of your assigned units and ensure timely provision of relevant reporting.
• Demonstrate Commitment: Examine the strategic and financial development of key (international) competitors and benchmark them against our own development, keeping our macroeconomic environment in mind at all times.
• Show Initiative: Proactively create ad-hoc analyses on current topics and issues with an international scope and evaluate business cases for significant strategic projects.
• Contribute Actively: Actively participate in the REWE Group's strategy processes and act at the interface with operational units.
• Be a Competent Contact Person: Advise and support your assigned units comprehensively at all times.

What We're Looking For:

• Your Personality: Your structured and analytical way of thinking helps you maintain an overview even in complex situations. Your self-reliant way of working and your team spirit complete your profile.
• Educational Background: A completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: Sound knowledge in controlling or finance, ideally with initial practical experience or several years of professional experience from a company, a consulting firm, or auditing.
• Technical Skills: Confident handling of common MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Experience with SAP, MicroStrategy, and TM1 is an advantage.
• Language Skills: Very good German and English skills, both in informal exchange and in a business context.
