The position reflects the evolving needs of the industry and RICS' dedication to upholding professional standards in land, real estate, construction, and infrastructure.

With 140,000 members worldwide and a presence in key financial markets, RICS continues to evolve in response to industry needs, regulatory changes, and emerging trends.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As Market Director, you will provide strategic leadership across your designated market and region, ensuring RICS meets the needs of its members, customers, and stakeholders while driving sustainable business growth.

Reporting to the Global Markets Director, you will lead market development, stakeholder engagement, and commercial growth. You will shape RICS' profile and influence within the region's economic and professional landscape, representing RICS with senior government officials, industry leaders, and corporate partners.

  • Lead RICS' regional strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives while responding to local market needs.
  • Drive business development, expanding RICS' reach and revenue across both established and emerging markets.
  • Cultivate high-level relationships with corporate customers, government bodies, and professional partners.
  • Oversee the region's financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
  • Represent RICS at major industry events, policy forums, and meetings.

About You:

  • Senior-level leadership experience in a commercial, business development, or market development role.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering business growth.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government, industry, and corporate sectors.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex market landscapes.
  • Experienced team leader, passionate about coaching and developing others.
