Our client is a global leader in handling equipment for the foundation and installation of wind, oil & gas, and coastal & infrastructure projects, both onshore and offshore. Their equipment has been used in the construction of 70% of all offshore wind farms worldwide!

They are seeking motivated Sales Managers with strategic foresight to drive the company's success in the onshore infrastructure sector within the DACH region.

Here are the conditions:

Start date: As soon as possible | Full-time | Permanent | 100% Home Office | Flexible working hours | Languages: German (C2) and English (C1) | Significant travel within the DACH region | €80,000 - €100,000 annual salary (based on experience) + 10% annual bonus

Your Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will:

  • Design and successfully implement strategies for developing new business opportunities.
  • Identify and acquire new customers in the onshore infrastructure sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with (potential) customers.
  • Frequently travel to customer sites and attend industry events.
  • Identify customer needs and translate them into tailored solutions from our client.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to provide technical and commercial support.
  • Lead negotiations and close contracts for complex mechanical equipment.
  • Effectively manage sales pipelines and provide internal reports on market developments.

Your Profile

Our client is a perfect fit for you if you:

  • Hold a degree in a technical or commercial field.
  • Have several years of experience in selling mechanical and/or technical products.
  • Possess skills in managing both complex, long-term, and fast, short-cycle deals.
  • Have very good German (C2) and good English skills (C1).
  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Are willing to travel frequently within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  • Have an affinity for civil engineering, infrastructure, or heavy machinery.
  • Maintain a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-centric mindset.
