The role - your passion

• Lead the Controlling and FP&A function, managing a team of 4 people.
• Be part of the Roadsurfer Finance leadership team and shape the future of the departments.
• Own the company's financials, including business plan, financial and liquidity forecasting, KPI analysis, and performance tracking.
• Conduct critical company-wide analyses and act as a sparring partner for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the C-level team and support financing rounds (Due Diligence, Scenario Modelling, etc.) and ongoing investor relations.
• Enhance financial systems, automation, and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency and accuracy.

What You Need To Surf The Wave With Us

Leadership & Team Management

• Hire, mentor, and develop the FP&A team, driving professional growth.
• Lead the team with energy and empathy.

Stakeholder Management

• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Experience

• 7 years of Controlling/FP&A experience in banking, consulting, or a private equity or venture capital backed business.
• Experience in a fast-moving scale-up is a must.
• Experience pivoting decentralized systems finance systems into a modern scalable platform.

Business Acumen

• Intuitive understanding of business model drivers.
• Ability to validate insights using financial and commercial data points.

Technical Skills

• Outstanding financial modelling skills, particularly using Excel (must-have).
• Experience with Lucanet (must-have).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP), DATEV, Candis (nice-to-have).

Language

• Full proficiency in English.
• German is considered a plus.
