Job Description

  • Develop innovative power semiconductor components (Si Power MOSFETs) for future automotive electronics applications.
  • Precisely characterize these devices and verify compliance with specifications, including the analysis of manufacturing data and electrical production testing (e.g., Electrical Wafer Sort).
  • Assume technical responsibility for the characterization laboratory and act as the central interface for laboratory and test equipment development at the Reutlingen and Dresden sites.
  • Be appointed as the "responsible electrically skilled person" if you have the appropriate qualifications and experience.
  • Coordinate and carry out further development tasks while actively managing interfaces with customers, manufacturing, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Completed university degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study.
  • Experience and know-how: In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device characterization and electrical safety. Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes is an advantage. Relevant experience in the development of power semiconductors is desirable.
  • Personality and working style: Ability to clearly communicate complex topics. Enjoy working collaboratively and constructively in a team. Efficient at coordinating tasks, with a high level of independence and willingness to collaborate across departments.
  • Work routine: Hybrid working model with 3-4 days per week on-site for personal exchange and collaboration.
  • Languages: Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
