Role:

• Installation, operation, and maintenance of Windows-based applications
• Administration and troubleshooting of applications and servers
• Support of ticket, change, and release management
• Optimization of IT processes and workflows
• Use and management of various IT technologies
• Collaboration with colleagues, teams, customers, and external service providers

Qualifications:

• Completed degree or training in the IT sector or comparable qualifications
• Experience with Windows servers and clients as well as Microsoft technologies (Hyper-V, MECM, etc.)
• Knowledge of Linux systems (SUSE Linux Enterprise, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) is an advantage
• Experience in creating technical operating documentation
• Analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Focus on process optimization and establishment of efficient IT workflows following technical challenges

• Microsoft Windows Server from version 2016
• Linux systems: SUSE Linux Enterprise, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Scripting: PowerShell
• Databases: MS-SQL, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL
• Network components: TCP/IP, Firewalls, Switches, Routers
• Load balancers: e.g. Radware Alteon
• Middleware: Apache, Tomcat, IIS, JBOSS
• Virtualization: VMWare, Hyper-V
