Role:

As Lead Buyer, you will be responsible for a central product group within the group-wide purchasing department and will shape its strategic direction sustainably. You will combine market knowledge, technical understanding, and negotiation skills to ensure stable supply chains, competitive cost structures, and long-term supplier partnerships. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, quality, and security of supply for the entire group.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop and implement procurement strategies for your product group and manage their consistent execution.
• You will strategically select and develop suppliers, and independently conduct price and contract negotiations.
• You will systematically plan and conduct supplier evaluations and audits.
• You will independently handle complaints and derive sustainable improvement measures.
• You will actively contribute your expertise to purchasing-relevant, interdisciplinary projects and drive group-wide standards forward.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the field of raw materials.
• Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Confident use of MS Office and sound knowledge of SAP MM.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
