Job Summary

Our Rocken Partner is a globally leading technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of high-precision drive systems. The company offers customized solutions, consisting of motors, gearboxes, and control electronics, used in a wide variety of complex applications.

Your Role

You will manage the production launch of demanding projects from handover from development to stable series production, ensuring a smooth ramp-up of processes, systems, and supply chains. In this role, you will plan and coordinate milestones, resources, budgets, and risks, provide technical leadership to interdisciplinary teams, and ensure timely execution. You will be responsible for industrialization, including process and testing concepts, Run@Rate, acceptance, and release processes, as well as the sustainable achievement of quality, cost, and performance targets. You will analyze deviations, initiate effective corrective and improvement measures, and establish robust standards for future launches. You will communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders, creating transparency through clear key figures, reports, and decision proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of contact for industrialization and production launch projects within Operations.
  • Coordinate and manage timelines, costs, and quality control across all relevant interfaces with internal competence centers.
  • Prepare project planning-relevant information, such as expenditures, cost estimates, and technical risks and challenges, in a structured manner.
  • Develop a cross-departmental manufacturing concept, including process flow diagrams, and implement it.
  • Actively participate in P-FMEAs to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure long-term quality.
  • Initiate and coordinate tasks in specialist departments (production documentation, operating resources, validation) and support validations and new process developments in collaboration with Process & Validation.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training in mechanical engineering as a polymechanic, constructor, or equivalent.
  • Further education as a FH or ETH engineer in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent, or as an HF technician.
  • Several years of experience in project management, production engineering, or quality management.
  • Independent, reliable, and clearly customer-oriented way of working.
  • Strong methodical and communication skills, with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
