2nd Level Support Specialist – IT Infrastructure (m/f/x)

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a dedicated 2nd Level Support Specialist with a focus on IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the stable operation of our system landscape and actively contribute to its further development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Processing and resolving 2nd level tickets in the infrastructure environment
• Analysis, prioritization, and sustainable resolution of complex incidents
• Operation, administration, and continuous optimization of IT systems
• Participation in rollouts, changes, and IT projects
• Support in the further development of our IT security and infrastructure standards

Your Technical Expertise & System Competence

You have sound knowledge and experience in several of the following areas:

• Security & Monitoring: Darktrace (E-Mail), Sophos Firewall & Central, Microsoft Defender, PRTG
• Microsoft / O365 / Azure: Exchange Administration (Users, Shared Mailboxes, Distribution Lists, Resources, Rules, Connectors), O365 Hybrid Environment, MFA, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure / Entra
• Servers & Virtualization: Windows Server, VMware vSphere / ESX, VDI, Veeam Backup, WSUS, Print Server
• Network & Infrastructure: VLAN, Switching, DMZ, Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, GestioIP
• Clients & Systems: Parallels RAS, Baramundi (incl. Packaging), OTRS, LinOTP, Linux
• Databases & Automation: SQL Server (Installation & Troubleshooting), PowerShell Scripting
• Hardware: Operation, Management, and Inventory

Your Profile:

• Completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., Fachinformatiker:in Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification through professional experience
• Career changers with demonstrable interest and practical experience in IT infrastructure / IT support are explicitly welcome
• Initial to several years of experience in IT support (1st/2nd Level) or in operating IT infrastructures is an advantage
• Sound knowledge in at least several of the mentioned technologies
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Teamwork skills, initiative, and sense of responsibility
