Senior Professional DevSecOps Engineer (m/w/d) Host/Cobol

Your Responsibilities

• You work in an agile team Inputmanagement and look after the mainframe component of our document management system, from further development to stable operation.
• Analysis and prioritization of new business and technical requirements, derivation of clear user stories, definition of acceptance criteria, and planning within the team.
• You contribute ideas, design improvements, and increase application stability through clean architecture, testing, and monitoring.
• Support of the technological transformation towards modern document management systems, including migration, interfaces, and data transfer.
• Operation, error management, and performance optimization of mainframe-based DMS processes, as well as close coordination with business departments and IT interfaces.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or an apprenticeship in the IT sector, alternatively a comparable qualification through relevant professional and project experience.
• Sound experience in mainframe development and confident handling of COBOL and DB2; knowledge of CoolGen is desirable.
• You work confidently in the DevSecOps environment and automate build, test, and deployment with suitable tools.
• Practical experience in batch processing and troubleshooting, combined with a structured, quality-oriented approach in an agile environment.
• You actively drive change, learn quickly, and continuously develop yourself and our DMS landscape.
• Good German language skills, both written and spoken (at least B2-C1).
