Program Details

  • Pipeline/Evergreen Posting: Candidate feedback may be delayed. Official recruitment begins August 2024. Applying to this position offers early contact for the SAP Academy for Customer Success Program starting March 2025. Info sessions will be held in the coming months.
  • Sales Academy Associate Role: Primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business with existing and net-new customers. You will empower customers by understanding their strategies and goals to drive cloud revenue growth and solve business challenges with SAP solutions.

What You'll Experience in the Academy

  • 10-Month Learn-Apply Program: Combines classroom and field phases with your sales team to enhance your sales role effectiveness. This is a critical customer-facing function within our Customer Success Board Area.
  • Experiential Learning: Immerse yourself in multi-dimensional learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
  • Value Creation: Learn to drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption, ongoing renewals, and account expansion.
  • On-the-Job Training: Receive local market onboarding with practical training and mentoring from Senior Account Executives. You'll gain experience working directly with customers.
  • Career Progression: The program enriches your knowledge of SAP and Customer Success, providing professional experience for a direct customer-facing sales role upon successful completion. You will continue to receive mentoring and coaching.
  • Employment: Full-time employment from day one with practical learning applications.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 2-3 years of work experience in a quota-carrying sales environment within a technology company, or a role with significant exposure to business processes.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, passion, curiosity, effective listening, professional presence, empathy, and a "can-get-it-done" mentality.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders and business functions.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and/or industries.

About the SAP Academy for Customer Success

This world-class training program develops future SAP talent through an energizing and inspiring experience in a globally diverse environment. The 10-month program strengthens the foundation for a successful career at SAP.

  • Official Program Start: March 1st, 2025.
  • Opportunity: Develop a global peer network, engage with customers, solve unique business challenges, and leverage SAP's cloud-based products and services. Earn a great salary and benefits.

Work Environment & Travel

  • Hybrid Work Model: A mix of office and remote work based on country-specific guidelines. Typically, three days a week in the office or with customers/partners.
  • International Travel: A practical, immersive portion of the program may involve 4-6 weeks, spread across two trips, in San Ramon, California. (Final decision pending confirmation by Q1 2025). Participants must be fully engaged during these phases.
  • Vacation Restrictions: Avoid planning vacations from March 1, 2025, to May 30, 2025, and from August 11, 2025, to October 17, 2025 (dates subject to change).
