Your Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the technical execution of national and international turnkey projects (HVDC, FACTS, or substations), including budget, quality, and schedule control for the complete engineering scope.
• Control of plant planning and development of project-specific plant concepts, considering preferred variants.
• Identification and evaluation of project-related risks, as well as development of suitable risk mitigation measures.
• Supervision of detailed design and planning of complete switchgear systems.
• Preparation of quotations and calculation of all engineering services.
• Consideration of customer specifications as well as national and international standards in planning and calculation.
• Conducting technical negotiations with clients, specialist planners, and suppliers, and representing the entire technical aspect.
• Technical leadership of project team members.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on High Voltage Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• Relevant professional experience in power generation/power transmission.
• Basic knowledge of CAD systems (AutoCAD, ELCAD, Engineering Base) and very good MS Office skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, teamwork ability, customer and results orientation, as well as assertiveness.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.

Note: Please be aware that German is the working language in our project and good German language skills (level B2+) are a prerequisite for the position.
