About this job

Why this job can be your next big step at Schwartau

At Schwartauer Werke, you get the best of both worlds: a strong home port with tradition and the power of an international group behind you. It's not just about jams and muesli bars, but about products that people encounter daily and bring the goodness of nature to the plate. In our Food Service division, you'll help shape what patients, residents, and guests are served in clinics and care facilities. Specifically, in the Southern region around Munich, you'll build relationships, develop your market, and have a direct impact on the quality of life for people in the area.

What's particularly important to us is an existing network in the care sector (e.g., clinics, care facilities, social organizations), as this is the focus of this position.

We stand for #EveryoneHero:

Taking responsibility, standing up for each other, communicating openly, staying curious, and wanting to make things truly better.

Your character counts just as much as your resume:

You'll be taken seriously, can influence decisions, and will have space for your own ideas. You'll work with people who are as passionate about food, sales, and service as you are, and who see you as an equal sparring partner. If you're eager to represent a value-driven company, build long-term relationships, and make a tangible difference, then you're a fit for us, and we're a fit for you.

What awaits you

  • Customer Management at Eye Level You'll manage regional specialist wholesalers, analyze their potential, and plan assortment and sales.

  • Focus on System Customers You'll acquire and manage regional and national system customers. You'll tap into new potential through market and competitor analysis.

  • Responsibility with Perspective You'll represent our company at trade fairs and customer events.

  • Teamwork & Networking Close collaboration with the field sales teams of specialist wholesalers, the Area Sales Managers, and internal and external partners.

What we offer you

  • With us, people come first: you are important
  • Dynamic work environment in a market-leading company
  • Culture of trust with a lot of collaboration and innovation
  • Responsible position with significant scope for action
  • Company car, also for private use
  • Company pension scheme
  • Home office portion and flexible work from your place of residence in the region

What makes you stand out

  • Education and Experience: Completed degree or comparable training, plus several years of experience in Food Service. Ideally, you already have an active network in the care sector and are familiar with the structures, decision-making processes, and needs of clinics and care facilities.
  • Digital Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and modern communication tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, empathy, and a creative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Motivation & Drive: Team spirit, a high degree of initiative, and strong results and customer orientation.
  • Flexibility: To be successful in this role, you'll need to travel frequently, primarily within your region but also nationwide.
  • Desirable: Background in the food industry, e.g., through training as a cook.
