Software Engineer Retail Media (m/w/d)

Requirements

Must have:

• 3 years of professional experience working on cloud native backend applications with Golang
• Ability to develop software that is clean, pragmatic, and forward-thinking
• Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features, fix bugs, and perform maintenance
• Experience in debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack
• Strong skills in improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proactive attitude towards development and maintenance of high-quality, scalable web applications using Golang
• Experience with architecture and design patterns in cloud native environments (great if you have)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications in cloud environments such as Azure DevOps, ArgoCD (great if you have)
• Experience building and running production systems (great if you have)

Responsibilities:

• Join our skilled R&D team to evolve our proprietary engine for generating highly personalized advertising promotions
• Develop an intuitive, extendable application for advertisers to manage and evaluate promotion campaigns
• Build a modern microservice-based backend with a strong technical foundation to meet customer expectations
• Support intuitive reporting features to visualize the outcome of machine learning-optimized promotions
• Work autonomously to achieve objectives while collaborating with software developers, data engineers, DevOps, and product managers
• Contribute to scaling our vision of making marketing relevant and impactful
• Participate in a fully remote setup while attending onsite company and engineering events to meet colleagues
