Hey --- I'm Benedikt, VP Growth Marketing at Shikenso. I'm building out our revenue function, and I'm hiring a dedicated Sales Development Representative to join the team. I'll be your hiring manager, and if you get the role, you'll report directly to me.

I want to be upfront about what this role actually is: inbound-first. Our pipeline is active, and the priority is making sure no lead gets wasted. That means fast response, thorough qualification, and yes --- closing. This isn't a role where you hand everything off and call it done. You'll be expected to take deals across the line.

A smaller portion of your time will go to outbound when volume allows. But if you're someone who lives for the full cycle --- qualifying, nurturing, and closing --- this is the role.

What you'll be doing

  • The majority of your time will be focused on inbound --- making sure no lead falls through the cracks.
  • Own the inbound lead queue --- respond fast, qualify thoroughly, and move deals forward
  • Close deals --- this isn't a hand-off role. You're expected to take opportunities across the line
  • Follow our SOPs to the letter --- we have processes in place
  • Use HubSpot to track every interaction, update deal stages, and keep the pipeline clean and accurate
  • Qualify leads based on ICP fit --- know when to push forward and when to disqualify early
  • Handle a smaller portion of outbound prospecting when inbound volume allows
  • Identify patterns in lead quality and flag insights back to me --- if something's not working, say so
