What you´ll be working on in our Purchase Management Team:

  • You take care of all relevant supply management data and make sure it is provided on time, accurate, complete, and clearly documented.
  • You work with supply data from manufacturers and process it according to the company's high logistics and quality standards for the related orders.
  • You build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers through regular and reliable communication.
  • You collaborate across teams and functions, share information within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) community, and involve others to find the best solutions.
  • You organize your daily tasks efficiently and help ensure smooth and reliable processes.

What you´re good at

  • You have completed vocational training as a Wholesale and Foreign Trade Merchant (or a comparable qualification).
  • You bring first practical experience in sales order activities or supply chain/logistics support (up to 1 year).
  • You have basic knowledge of operational SCM administration and logistics processes.
  • You have some hands‑on experience with delivery instructions, supplier coordination, logistics and shipping processes, customs topics, and working with an ERP system.
  • You understand the basics of working in an international B2B environment.
  • You have initial knowledge of Shin-Etsu Silicones Europe (SESE) products and applications or are motivated to learn quickly.
  • You enjoy building relationships and bring good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have a strong service mindset and focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • You are a team player who values collaboration, asks for feedback, and seeks advice when needed.
  • You are fluent in English and Japanese.
  • You feel comfortable working in an intercultural environment and are open to Japanese business culture.
  • You are motivated, curious, and eager to continuously learn and grow - both professionally and personally.
