AI-Native Product Manager (m/f/d)

About the Role

You'll be part of the Agentic Commerce Lab, a startup-like team within Shopware, dedicated to exploring how agentic systems will shape commerce by 2030. We build new products, run fast experiments, and prove what is possible. Join us on the zero-to-one journey and shape the future of commerce as part of a strategic moonshot at Shopware. This is not a "wait for requirements" kind of role. You operate as an entrepreneur inside Shopware, acting like an owner. You will drive ideas from inception to production.

This position can be filled on-site, hybrid, or full-remote within Germany or specific European countries where we are registered. Your work location will be agreed upon in advance and forms the basis of your employment contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build what is next: Live in our customers' relative future. Push the edge of what is possible with the latest in AI, often without documentation or playbooks.
• End-to-end ownership: Take responsibility for your bets from idea to production.
• Ship fast: Ship things quickly, with permission and comfort in iterating publicly.
• Always be useful: Act as a hands-on owner, not a manager. Jump in wherever help is needed most in a startup spirit.
• Define products that don't exist: Make bold product bets with incomplete information and own the outcomes.
• Run experiments, not roadmaps: Design fast tests to validate hypotheses about merchant and agent needs, and pivot based on learnings.
• Build in public: Share product thinking transparently with customers, partners, and the broader agentic commerce community.
• Bridge human and agent needs: Balance product requirements for human merchants with technical requirements for AI agents.

What You'll Bring:

The most important qualification is a desire to continuously learn and live on the bleeding edge of AI developments.

• Bias to action: Prefer prototypes over decks, and experiments over endless discussions.
• Self-starter DNA: Thrive in ambiguity and love figuring things out without a detailed map.
• AI native: Default to 10x yourself with AI. Stay at the bleeding edge of emerging model capabilities and share your learnings.
• Vibe-code fluency: Hands-on experience with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, v0, Lovable, etc.) and comfort going from concept to clickable demo in a day.
• Product mindset: Care about outcomes, not just outputs, and design with merchants, shoppers, and developers in mind.
• Collaborative spirit: Be open to learning from and co-building with peers inside and outside Shopware.
• First-principles thinking: Ask "what should exist in an AI-first commerce world" rather than just "what do competitors do".
• Data-informed intuition: Use AI to analyze user behavior patterns but trust your gut on what to build next.
• Startup mindset: Experience building 0-to-1 products and know how to turn speed into outcomes.
• Technical credibility: Earn respect from developers by understanding the stack and making technically-informed trade-offs.
• API-first mindset: Think in primitives and composability, designing products usable by both agents and humans.
