Your Role
As an Analytics Engineer E-Commerce (m/f/d), you are part of our agile IT and actively shape the data-driven future in e-commerce. You will work closely with the CRM, Merchandise Buying & Planning departments, and management, providing recommendations for action based on your analyses. Support our team on campus in Oelde (Münster, Bielefeld, Dortmund region) or remotely.
What awaits you
- You create data-based decision-making foundations for e-commerce, both in day-to-day business and as part of our OKRs.
- You independently identify growth areas in e-commerce.
- You will place a special focus on questions regarding the behavior of our customers in the online shop.
- Based on an established central data platform, you will develop special data models for the e-commerce domain and make them available for ad-hoc analyses or standard reporting.
- Your interactive dashboards make strategic and operational correlations visible at a glance and create transparency at all levels.
- You are responsible for the quality of your data pipelines and independently develop tests to ensure timeliness and correctness.
- In the Data Team, you are the central point of contact for the E-Commerce Team.
What you bring
- Successfully completed studies in mathematics, (business) computer science, a STEM degree, or a comparable apprenticeship/further training.
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position and a deep understanding of D2C e-commerce.
- Very good analytical thinking skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
- Proficient SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
- Experience in transforming data in data warehouses, e.g., dbt or Airflow.
- Knowledge of data modeling (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) and building structured data products.
- Experience with CRM, online analytics tools (e.g., Bloomreach, GA4), and dashboarding and BI tools (e.g., Looker or Power BI).
- Confident use of version control tools (Git) and agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Fluent German and very good English skills.
