Business Development Executive - DACH Region
As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in driving new business growth across the DACH region. You will engage and advise customers across various segments, including independent hotels, boutique properties, large hotel groups, and travel tech partners. You will represent a leading AI technology platform that redefines guest acquisition and hotel revenue management. Your role will involve not only closing new business but also strategically influencing pipeline growth, fostering long-term partnerships, and driving commercial excellence.
Training and Support
We provide a comprehensive, month-long sales training and onboarding program, covering our products, industry, and sales processes. You will receive ongoing support from a dedicated sales coach, a buddy, and your team leader to help you achieve your professional goals.

What You'll Do
- Full-Cycle Sales: Lead sales and business development efforts, from identifying and engaging prospects to converting them into customers.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute strategic qualification routines, build segmented pipelines, and prioritize high-value opportunities within your territory.
- Achieve Targets: Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales KPIs and targets.
- Trusted Advisor: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions, deliver compelling product presentations, consult on client business goals, and present professional proposals. Negotiate contracts to balance client value and SiteMinder's profitability.
- CRM Management: Maintain disciplined CRM practices for accurate pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and customer insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Onboarding, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to refine market messaging, feedback loops, and go-to-market strategies.
- Company Representation: Promote SiteMinder's products and brand by engaging with local industry groups and travel associations. Attend key events and support initiatives to raise brand awareness, including occasional travel for client meetings.
What You Have
- Sales Experience: Extensive full-cycle sales and business development experience, preferably in SaaS, hospitality technology, hotel operations, revenue management, or related commercial services.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the hospitality value chain, including hotel management, revenue strategy, and guest acquisition.
- Consultative Skills: Proven ability to diagnose business needs, tailor solutions, and influence decision-making effectively.
- Remote Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening abilities, and the capacity to build rapport and drive processes autonomously.
- Resilience & Growth Mindset: High self-motivation, continuous learning, and openness to feedback and coaching.
- Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency with CRM and sales tools.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in German (min. C2) and professional proficiency in English.
