Your Role at Sixt

• Build intelligent automation pipelines that transform infrastructure requests (S3 buckets, Kubernetes, SageMaker projects, databases, and more) into self-service experiences. No more waiting for manual provisioning.
• Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions that allow data scientists and ML engineers to spin up compliant, secure resources with a single click or API call.
• Create and maintain automated workflows that integrate ticket systems with cloud provisioning, turning customer requests into deployed infrastructure seamlessly.
• Develop monitoring and alerting mechanisms to ensure automated deployments are successful and resources are properly configured.
• Collaborate closely with experienced MLOps and Machine Learning Engineers as well as data scientists to understand their pain points and build tools that make their lives easier.
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices for cloud infrastructure, security, and scalability.

Your Skills Matter

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in Python and comfort with scripting for automation purposes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) -- you should be comfortable navigating cloud consoles and understanding core services.
• Problem-solving mindset: you're solution-oriented, proactive, and don't just identify problems but bring ideas on how to fix them.
• Self-directed learner: you're excited to dive into new technologies, experiment, and figure things out.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and you thrive in culturally diverse teams.
