An international IT software player focusing on digitalization and cloud services needs you as a Linux System Engineer (m/w/d) -- AWS Cloud in Düsseldorf.

Your tasks:

• Strategic planning and operational implementation of IT infrastructure and IT security measures
• Leadership and support of cloud migration projects in the AWS environment
• Further development and operation of the internal AWS cloud environment using CloudFormation
• Secure operation of virtualized Linux cluster systems with a focus on high availability
• Close collaboration with international IT teams on cross-functional infrastructure projects
• Monitoring, automation, and continuous optimization of our systems and processes
• Occasional business trips to the data center or branches
• On-call duty after thorough familiarization

What you bring:

• Several years of professional experience in Linux system administration and in virtualized infrastructures
• Practical experience with IaC -- ideally with CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform
• Knowledge of high availability solutions
• Good understanding of network concepts, IT security standards, and cloud technologies
• Independent, structured way of working
• Confident interaction with end-users and experience in support activities
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
