Responsibilities

• Operation and further development of the storage environment, including capacity planning, performance monitoring, and backup integration
• Administration and monitoring of data backup and emergency environments (e.g., Veeam) and maintenance of recovery concepts
• Operation and expansion of the Citrix environment with virtual desktops, master images, and secure remote access
• Support for modern remote workplace solutions to enable hybrid working models
• Involvement in server and virtualization operations (Windows and Linux systems)
• Support in the network and firewall environment, including VPN and site networking
• Participation in IT security measures such as email security, awareness training, and phishing tests
• Planning and execution of patch, update, and maintenance work
• Further development of system and network monitoring
• Close collaboration with internal departments as well as external service providers and providers

Profile

• Completed IT-related apprenticeship or comparable degree
• Sound experience in operating enterprise storage systems
• Very good knowledge of backup and recovery solutions as well as data backup concepts
• Understanding of emergency and recovery strategies (Disaster Recovery)
• Experience in operating Citrix environments and virtual workplaces
• Knowledge in maintaining master images and secure remote access
• Good knowledge of Windows Server environments and Active Directory
• Basic knowledge in the network environment (firewall, VPN, site networking)
• Structured, responsible work ethic and analytical thinking skills
