Your Role as Dispatcher

Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Flight Planning and Preparation

• Calculating routes
• Calculating takeoff and landing performance/weights
• Calculating fuel requirements
• Analyzing weather conditions in relation to feasibility
• Obtaining landing and overflight permits
• Obtaining slots and parking permits
• Handling confirmation

Crew Support

• Preparing flight briefings based on the above points
• Checking the compliance of all documents

Coordination

• Interface between the crew, ground handling, internal travel department, and internal sales team

Flight Monitoring

• Ongoing monitoring of flights and providing support in the event of problems

Owner Support

• Supporting and coordinating operations for owner flights or managed aircraft in the fleet

Flight Follow-up

• Checking the completeness of all relevant documents

Your Profile

(may include, but does not require)

• Education: Completed training in the aviation sector (e.g., aviation business administrator) or preferably a license (FAA/EASA dispatch license or CPL/ATPL)
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of aviation, at least 3 years of professional experience
• Languages: Business fluent in spoken and written English, German is an advantage
• Soft Skills: High level of safety awareness, stress resistance, communication skills, customer-oriented approach, decisiveness, economic approach
• General: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, Willingness to work in the office and/or work from home with a few days of work in the office (Vienna/Hamburg)
