Key Responsibilities and Skills

As a Business Development Executive at SmartPA, you'll be a part of our Client Engagement team that is responsible for delivering exceptional experiences to our SME clients, championing relationships that drive long-term value and client success. You'll channel your passion for sales and strong communication skills to deeply understand client pain points and effectively educate them on how our support can solve their challenges and unlock value. You'll also combine commercial strategy and operational excellence to ensure every engagement showcases the full impact of SmartPA's offering.

Here's how you'll make a difference:

  • Drive SME Sales Strategy: Execute targeted SME sales strategies that exceed revenue targets. Collaborate across teams to enhance lead generation, nurture pipelines, and convert prospects into long-term clients through consultative selling.
  • **Deliver Seamless Onboarding:**Oversee a best-in-class onboarding experience for new SME clients. Ensure every engagement is set up for success by modelling best practices, embedding our methodology, and aligning onboarding to our SLAs.
  • **Champion Client Success:**Act as a trusted advisor to our SME clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships. Monitor the client lifecycle, conduct strategic account management calls, and continuously identifying opportunities to optimise service and deliver meaningful value.
  • Leverage Insight to Drive Value: Use data analytics to track team performance, client happiness, and sales metrics. Share actionable insights that inform business decisions, drive improvements, and elevate the client experience.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Uncover areas for upsell and cross-selling through consultative conversations. Deepen client engagement by aligning SmartPA's full suite of services with each client' evolving needs.
  • Collaborate Across the Business: Partner with Service Delivery, Marketing, and Finance to ensure a joined-up approach to client care, Share insights from client interactions to inform service enhancements and strategic planning.

Experience

What You'll Need

Essential:

  • 2 years minimum in a B2B sales role ideally within professional services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full client journey, from sales, onboarding and account management.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the BPO market or a similar field would be a bonus.

Work Remotely

Yes, 1 day per week at home.

Salary

£25,000 - £35,000

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm (flexitime available, core hours 10am - 4.30pm)
