About the Role

As a member of Spark Radiance, you will drive the digitalization of the Order-to-Manufacture process. You will automate the creation and provision of CAD documents, drawings, and production-relevant information, ensuring a seamless data chain from sales through order processing to global manufacturing. Your work will focus on process and system transformation, building a CAD framework, and integrating it into our system and process landscape. You will utilize and expand upon models and standards provided by the design departments for order and production-specific requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Automated creation of order and production-relevant CAD models and drawings via the Solid Edge API, including 2D derivation, metadata enrichment, and variant logic. Creation of manufacturing articles in the ERP system, including bills of materials.
  • Utilization and further development of a common CAD framework in close collaboration with the design departments.
  • Definition, setup, and operation of end-to-end interfaces between CAD, PLM, and ERP; implementation of REST APIs and XML/JSON data flows.
  • Analysis and digitalization of manual workflows, as well as the setup of scalable digital process chains in the Order-to-Manufacture context.
  • System support and quality assurance of the CAD environment, including release changes, regression tests, and performance optimizations.
  • Automated provision of technical CAD information for sales, order processing, and global production processes and plants.
  • Definition, further development, and enforcement of CAD/PDM standards in the order and manufacturing process; creation of documentation, training materials, and best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 27001-compliant data processing and security guidelines.

Your Profile:

  • A completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Production Technology, Computer Engineering) or a comparable technical qualification.
  • A strong engineering background with experience in CAD automation and/or technical product data processes.
  • Good knowledge of working with 3D CAD software (ideally Solid Edge) to control it via the API for model generation (automation, parametric models, drawing derivation).
  • Programming experience in C#/VB.NET and SQL; proficient in REST, XML/JSON, and GitLab.
  • Knowledge of working with PDM/PLM systems (metadata, classifications, lifecycles).
  • Knowledge of Order-to-Manufacture processes.
  • Familiarity with system integration between CAD, PDM/PLM, CPQ, and variant configuration (ERP system).
  • Understanding of information security and working in an ISO 27001 certified environment.
  • Fluent German and English language skills; additional language skills are a plus.
