Tasks

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated development engineer (m/f/d) in the field of surface analysis.

Your Responsibilities

• You will take responsibility for the development of systems and components for surface analysis from concept to series production.
• You will test prototypes and optimize them regarding economic criteria.
• You will create technical documentation and act as a contact person for technical and physical questions.
• You will be responsible for the execution and monitoring of projects.
• You will lead or work in interdepartmental teams.
• You will take care of our cooperation partners.

Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree in physics or an engineering discipline. A relevant doctorate is an advantage.
• You already have professional experience in an industrial, technically demanding, and customer-oriented environment.
• You enjoy working in a team, are goal-oriented, and have strong problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge and experience in project management are advantageous.
• Ideally, you have experience with electron spectroscopy, ultra-high vacuum technology, or in the development of complex laboratory equipment.
• Very good German and English skills complete your profile.
