We are speisekarte(.)de, the specialist for digital menus and online restaurant guides. Since 2008, we have been helping food lovers in Germany to follow their own taste and discover something new culinarily.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Working Student in Content Management (m/f/d) in Nuremberg, starting as soon as possible, to support us with 16-20 hours per week. speisekarte(.)de is part of gutefrage(.)net GmbH, which has operated the largest question-and-answer platform in the German-speaking world with gutefrage(.)net since 2006.

Your Tasks

• You will be responsible for updating and maintaining our gastro database, i.e., restaurant data such as cuisine type and contact details - in Germany and on our international pages.
• You will check user-generated content / UGC elements (images, reviews) against our guidelines and approve them for publication.
• You will also support the categorization and maintenance of our food dictionary (thesaurus), for example, in relation to ingredients or allergens.
• You will research dishes and/or ingredients.
• You will support the preparation of statistics and analyses.

Your Qualifications

• You are currently studying full-time at a state-recognized university and want to strengthen our team for at least 6 months, preferably longer.
• During the semester, you have 16-20 hours per week available for us - during semester breaks, more is welcome.
• You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and are a spelling expert.
• You work carefully, conscientiously, and have experience with Excel or Google Spreadsheets.
• Ideally, you have basic knowledge of Dutch or Portuguese.
• You are motivated and definitely a good team player.

What You Can Expect From Us

• The opportunity to flexibly schedule your working hours in coordination with the team between Monday and Friday.
• During semester breaks, you are welcome to support us with more than 16-20 hours per week.
• We work hybrid, meaning you have the opportunity to work part of the time (approx. 50%) remotely / from home.
• For your commitment, you will receive an hourly wage of 14.50 Euros.
