Responsibilities

• Operation, further development, and optimization of a highly cloud-oriented IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure
• Administration and security of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, and Microsoft Security & Compliance solutions (e.g., Defender, Conditional Access, Information Protection)
• Implementation and further development of IT security concepts (Zero Trust, MFA, Device & Identity Security, Monitoring)
• Automation and standardization of IT processes (e.g., with PowerShell, Intune, Azure services)
• Participation in IT projects (e.g., cloud migrations, security rollouts, network redesigns)
• Documentation of systems, processes, and architectures, as well as knowledge transfer within the team
• Processing and documentation of tickets as 2nd and 3rd level support

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or degree in IT or comparable practical experience
• Professional experience in administering modern, cloud-based IT environments (ideally Microsoft 365 / Azure)
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Microsoft Security solutions (e.g., Defender, Conditional Access)
• Experience in automating and standardizing IT processes (e.g., PowerShell, Intune, Azure)
• Practical experience in operating and further developing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of network architectures and operations, ideally with Fortinet (firewalls, VPN, security) and UniFi is an advantage
• Analytical, structured way of working, and the ability to develop individual technical solutions for complex requirements
• High degree of personal responsibility, solution orientation, and quality awareness
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with specialist departments
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
