Job Description

A technology-oriented company in the field of intelligent device and charging systems is looking for a leader to manage an interdisciplinary software team.

The focus is on the development of embedded firmware, backend services, and frontend solutions for industrial applications. Work is done on scalable systems with a focus on stability, maintainability, and clean development processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical and organizational leadership of a software team (Embedded, Backend, Frontend)
  • Responsibility for software architecture, technical concepts, and their implementation
  • Planning, prioritization, and control of development tasks
  • Coordination with product management, hardware development, and quality assurance
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, interface, and architecture definitions
  • Further development of development processes, toolchains, and methods
  • Contribution to the implementation of new product features
  • Technical coaching and development of team members
  • Active participation in development with a technical and strategic focus

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in software development, ideally in embedded systems, IoT, or e-mobility
  • Very good knowledge of C/C++; further languages such as Qt, Python, JavaScript, or Rust are an advantage
  • Experience in the technical leadership of development teams
  • Confident handling of Git, IDEs, CMake, and CI/CD environments
  • Experience with communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, Modbus; OCPP is an advantage)
  • Structured, analytical, and independent way of working
  • Clear communication, decision-making ability, and technical understanding
