What You Can Expect

• You will be responsible for the planning and design of primary technology in substations, including power transformers, switchgear, and surge arresters.
• You will create circuit diagrams, construction drawings, and technical specifications for projects.
• You will coordinate technical requirements with project stakeholders such as grid operators and external service providers.
• You will select and dimension technical components, considering current standards like IEC 61850.
• You will provide support during site implementation and conduct technical acceptance tests.

What You Should Bring

• A completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, ideally with in-depth knowledge of high-voltage technology and power transmission.
• Initial experience in substation planning is advantageous.
• Proficiency in relevant norms and standards, such as IEC and VDE.
• Confident use of planning software like AutoCAD or EPLAN.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A structured approach to work and an interest in complex technical projects.
